As an entrepreneur, my mind is constantly in motion. Brainstorming ideas, concepts, you name it. Similarly, as a parent, I’m always on the go. Playing and creating with my son and trying to find something for him to do that doesn’t always involve a screen. Put the two together and this is how My Art Box was born and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!
The idea behind My Art Box combines things that both parents and kids can appreciate- creativity, hands-on experience, critical thinking, and the anticipation of a new creation. When you subscribe, each month you’ll receive a kit delivered to your door complete with everything you need for that month’s project: From supplies to instructions, fun facts, and even video tutorials to help guide you along. Our aim is to provide an immersive and creative experience that can help your child develop their artistic skills and end up with a finished product that is both beautiful and something for them to be proud of.
It's no secret that our children are spending more and more time in front of screens. Whether due to virtual learning these past two years, or just as a side effect of our increasingly digital world, more often than not, kids are watching a device. That was something that was on my mind when developing our projects. Studies show that art helps kids develop; from fine motor skills to decision making, when kids are creating, they’re also learning. Each one of our projects is designed with that as a consideration, and I’m so proud of the variety of different kits we have lined up for everyone.
